Bonnie Physical Therapist, Rehab Manager
Kim Registered Nurse / Admissions Coordinator

Hi my name is Kim Weiman and I am an RN at Fidalgo Rehabilitation Center.  My current title is Admissions Coordinator.  This position is vital to the coordination of care for our residents from the hospital to Fidalgo. I have wanted to be a nurse since I can remember because I have always been fascinated with the human body, and the human spirit. I started my nursing career in 2008.  What I love the most about my job is our incredible residents.  They inspire me every day with their strength and will to get better and go home.  They also find humor in the toughest times and are grateful for our support.  I also love my co-workers.  They are the most compassionate, selfless, dedicated people I have ever been privileged to work with.  When I am not working I can’t wait to spend time with my very sweet handsome husband Cory, our dog Tank and two cats Clyde & Murray.  I enjoy sailing, camping, hiking, listening to live music, cooking and reading a great book on my front porch.  I grew up in Oak Harbor, WA and lived in Seattle for 6 years.  I appreciate living the Northwest as it allows me to fulfill my many passions and inspires me to see beyond what’s in front of me.  My favorite quote is by George Washington Carver;

“How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant with the weak and strong, because someday in your life you will have been all of these.”

San Juan Rehabilitation is such a wonderful place to be. The residents are happy and we as staff are treated with dignity and respect. I really enjoy the caring and family like environment we have here. The staff really pitches in for each other and helps out when needed. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 5 fur babies. We have 3 dogs- Trooper, Princess and Dusty, 1 cat- Mao Mao and 1 Feral cat- Mama. I enjoy volunteering in the community with Dusty as a therapy dog and working on dog agility with my little guys. I also enjoy skiing, listening to music and movies.

I love working at San Juan. For me, it’s the people that really make it not only my job but my home away from home.

I am a single mother with 2 children. They’ve grown and I now have 5 wonderful grandsons. 2 live in Ohio, 2 in Alaska, and 1 here in Washington. While I don’t seem them as often as I would like, I’m still a proud grandma just the same.

I live here in Anacortes and I keep myself busy with baking, sewing and counted cross stitch as well as my dog Magick.

Devon Occupational Therapist

I graduated from Shenandoah University in Virginia with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. I have 10 years experience working in Geriatric Rehabilitation and I’m passionate about what I do! My favorite part of working at San Juan is knowing that the residents and their needs come first for everyone on our team. When you share the same core beliefs with your co-workers, there is a natural camaraderie amongst us, it’s like an extension of family. Not only do I have the pleasure of working at San Juan, but I also work at our sister facilities Fidalgo Rehabilitation and Rosario Assisted Living. I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of Roe Family Facilities.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife. We have been together for 12 years and married for just over a year. Together we enjoy taking care of our 3 dogs, 2 cats and fish. I also enjoy spending time hiking, traveling, and listening to music.
